Birmingham Literature Festival

In October 2025, Emily had the pleasure of working on her first BLF with Writing West Midlands as an event and volunteer manager. In 2026, she will be co-producing the event as Head of Artist Liaison.

Taking place every Autumn, the Birmingham Literature Festival is one of the leading festivals in the Midlands. The festival showcases the very best writers, speakers, thinkers, activists and artists from the Midlands, UK, and across the world.

 

A wide range of innovative literature and literature-inspired work is programmed and commissioned, creating unique opportunities for audiences to experience high quality events.
